Digital & Local Spaces: Community Wellbeing in Practice
I research how digital tools and mindful spaces can support community wellbeing. Based at Goldsmiths' Art Department with Arts and Humanities Research Council funding, I explore how independent wellness spaces can remain authentic while embracing digital innovation. Through video, audio, and participatory projects, I document how studio owners and practitioners balance tradition with accessibility, sustainability, and ethical business practices.
Current research examines:
Design and aesthetics in wellness spaces
Digital tools for community building
Sustainable business models
Inclusive approaches to wellbeing
Sustainable Practice
Implementing ethical and sustainable methodologies in digital content creation, focusing on long-term community benefit and cultural preservation.
Digital & Physical Integration
Creating bridges between digital platforms and traditional spaces like museums and heritage sites, exploring how technology can enhance community engagement while maintaining ethical practices.
Memory & Wellness
Developing innovative approaches to memory preservation and wellness through entrepreneurial initiatives, combining digital storytelling with community-centered practices.
